Just gorgeous!

I know it's not the purists way of thinking, but am I the only person who actually dislikes these earlier models, because I'd like to have AC, power steering, and a passenger airbag?

These add a very insignificant amount of weight and make the car a lot more liveable and realistic for anyone who's not an all out track day junkie I think.

it depends on its purpose. ten years ago, I would probably disagree on everything except maybe power steering. but now, I can't see myself daily driving a car without airbags.
